The Luxasolar® Clear View® Optimus Series window films are spectrally selective films with spectacular solar control properties and an exceptional visible light transmittance. The revolutionary technology results in highly sun-heat reflective window films with a superior optical clarity and very little heat absorption.The sun’s harmful radiation is kept out, while still transmitting the wanted visible light. The window films consist of high quality laminated layers of polyester that are applied to the inside of glazing trough a network of professional and certified installers, while keeping the optic ideal. The UV rays are blocked at 99%, which does not discolour carpets, furniture or works of art. The solar factor varies depending on the exhibition angle to the sun. In the summer this factor is lower (larger exhibition angle) and more sun rays are blocked, and so the greenhouse effect is stopped. In the winter this factor is higher (smaller exhibition angle) and so the foil favors the supply of sun rays. This results in considerable savings on heating costs in the winter.
