Modern-day architecture holds glass in very high esteem. You get to live with the greenhouse effect the whole year through: the glass uses its insulating function to keep heat from the sun's radiation inside. This means interior walls, floors, ceilings and furniture are all warmed up.
This heat remains in the room and causes overheating. Tinted glazing keeps just 30% of the sun's heat outside. Roller blinds, venetian blinds and sun-resistant awnings are not really effective. They also generate local heating which results in convection radiation.
And what about the air-conditioning? In warm periods every climate control installation runs on full power with a heavy energy factor as a consequence. Furthermore, the lack of thermal comfort results in worse work performance and makes light reflections appear on screens quickly, which can be very troublesome.
The foils keep 93% of infrared heat rays out and lower the indoor temerature up to 10°c. The foil reduces the costs of our climate control: in the summer it keeps the sun out and in the winter it keeps the warmth in.
Using the Luxasolar® Clear View window films the cooling loads demanded by air conditioned buildings can be substatially decreased. This means your climate control will use significantly less energy and that's good news for both the invironment and your budget.
The UV rays are blocked at 99%, and therefore the fading of your interior is stopped. Glare on computer and TV screens are also a thing of the past.
